Selling, tracking, and restocking your items are all part of the inventory process. Payanywhere helps merchants manage inventory in a simple and reliable way. By using Payanywhere, you can quickly access products and services, as well as streamline the sales process and provide itemized transactions on your receipts.
Payanywhere is the easy, affordable, and smart payment solution whether your business is on-the-go or brick-and-mortar. The platform includes point-of-sale hardware and software solutions, payment processing, and business management software.
Software includes the Payanywhere app and Payanywhere Inside, which both allow you to manage inventory and more. The Payanywhere App allows you to build and manage your item library and is available on Apple iOS and Android devices running the latest software. Payanywhere Inside is free business management software allowing merchants and employees to view transaction history as well as track and manage inventory.
How to Manage Inventory on the Payanywhere App
Accessing Your Inventory
Go to the Navigation Menu and click on Edit Mode. Use the header to switch between Items, Categories, Modifiers, and Discounts. Tap Close when you are finished editing or adding items to your inventory.
Setting Up Categories
You can group your items into Categories and organize by color and name. To get started, tap on Categories and the plus symbol to add a category. You can add an item to your Favorites group by tapping on the heart icon next to the item while in Edit Item mode.
Adding, Editing or Deleting Items
To add an item, tap on Item and the plus symbol. You can enter a product name, price, photo, and have the option to select whether the item is taxable. When adding an item, you can add Modifiers and Multiple Prices to a single item listing. Add the product to a Category if you have categories set up. Remember to hit Save when you are finished.
You can also start tracking stock of an item by tapping on Manage Stock to enter the quantity you have available.
To delete multiple items, select the items using the checkboxes, or click select all, then Delete.
Adding or Editing Cart-Level Discounts
Tap on Discount and the plus symbol to create a discount. You can specify a dollar amount or a percentage, the name of the discount, and attach a color for identification. Discounts are created exactly like an item, and discounts will apply to all items in the cart.
Select an item and tap on Manage Stock. Enter the quantity of your stock to start tracking items. You will see an alert at the top of the item image when you are low on stock. You can set the number you want to use for low stock alerts, and sell items with zero stock if you are an Admin.
Tap the barcode icon on the new sale screen to activate your camera and scan an item. Recognized items will be automatically added to the cart. Unrecognized items can be added to your inventory.
Managing Inventory on Payanywhere Inside
On the Payanywhere Inside software, your inventory consists of Items, Categories, Modifiers, and Discounts.
Changes made on Payanywhere Inside will automatically sync to the Payanywhere app, and vice-versa. If items created in Payanywhere Inside are not syncing with your app or device, make sure your device is set to the correct time zone.
Adding, Editing or Deleting Items
You can add Items, Categories, Modifiers, and Discounts functions the same way you would on the Payanywhere app.
To delete multiple items, select the items using the checkboxes or click select all and then Delete.
Click on the Import icon to bulk upload your items. You will need to download the template to enter in your items. The template file must stay as a CSV file (.csv) when you are uploading to Payanywhere Inside.
You can export your Library as a CSV file (.csv) with the stock numbers at the time of the export included.
